Devon & Cornwall Good Food pages guide you to some of our delicious local produced foods. Westcountry fish, meat and cheeses are superb also the Cornish Pasty. In my own opinion the best one I have tasted is made in Looe at The Pasty Shop in Buller St.
Also in Looe visit Roys House of Chocolates in Higher Market St, East Looe. The finest chocolate I have ever tasted.

Times were very hard for people with lots of poverty and poor living conditions, many pictures portray villages looking quaint but underneath it was a hard life.

For visitors not knowing the UK, The Westcountry is made up of Cornwall at its most Westerly tip, then Devon, Dorset is to the East, with Somerset sitting north of Devon.

Plymouth is approx.240 miles from London,110 miles to Bristol.
