Netherton House/Penlee House 44 - OLD PHOTOS OF PLYMOUTH DEVON
First thought to be Fursdon House in the late 1890s.
Have just discovered with the help of a visitor to the site it is Netherton House/Penlee House in Stoke Plymouth on the corner of Molesworth Rd and The Elms. This is the front elevation viewed from Osborne Rd. Originally built as one house I am still trying to trace its name.1923 converted into two houses Netherton House/Penlee House the premises are listed.

Photo comment By R Lloyd: This is not a picture of Fursdon House in Blunts Lane, sorry to tell you!
Photo comment By Fiona Mackenzie: I lived in Fursdon,Blunts Lane, Plymouth as child between 1956 and 1972 and I agree this is not the Fursdon I knew and loved.
Photo comment By chris: could this be Burrington House that stood once where the John Kitto College is now?
Photo comment By john: I lived on Osborne Road in Stoke and I think this could be on Molesworth Road. The house that sits on the corner of The Elms. Its driveway sits opposite the Molesworth Road turning for Penlee Way. I know nothing of its history, so if you have any details, I'd be interested.
